The Habitual Worrier

There are days when you have to step back, take a deep breath and say "Thank You". The human mind is a crazy instrument. It can deliver thoughts that send us into the heavens but, also make us feel like it's the end of the world. The last few days have been anxiously spent worrying about a situation that had a very simple solution. One phone call, follow up in a few days, problem solved. Why do we overreact? It's because we can't maintain a state of presence. Living the moment. Thinking rationally, realizing that there are no circumstances that aren't solvable. A complete waste of time, energy and productivity. Not to mention ruining a whole day! My overreaction taught me to keep a proper perception of all the things life throws at us, both good and bad. The next time I'm feeling overwhelmed with anxiety, the solution is STEP BACK, TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND SAY (at the top of my lungs) "THANK YOU"...
